My research focuses on the evolution of cognitive functioning during the transition to retirement. I am particularly interested in the influence of changes in social activities. In addition, I study the influence of these factors in interaction with the social context. My work is based on the theoretical framework of embodied and situated cognition approaches and aims to produce knowledge that will allow the development of preventive interventions for healthy cognitive aging.
