Anick Bérard

Dre Bérard a une formation en épidémiologie et en génétique de l'Université McGill, de la Harvard Medical School et de l'Université de Stanford. Elle est professeure titulaire d'épidémiologie périnatale à l'Université de Montréal, Faculté de pharmacie, UdeM et CHU Ste-Justine à Montréal; et professeur associé à la Faculté de médecine de l'Université Claude Bernard à Lyon, France. Dr Bérard est titulaire d'une chaire de recherche du Canada de niveau 1 sur les médicaments et la grossesse; et de la Chaire de recherche Louis-Boivin de l'UdeM sur les « Médicaments, grossesse et allaitement ». Anick Bérard est également directrice de l'unité de recherche sur les médicaments et la grossesse au CHU Ste-Justine; directrice du Réseau Québécois de recherche sur les médicaments du FRQS; Fellow de l’Académie Canadienne en Sciences de la Santé ; Fellow de la Société internationale de pharmacoépidémiologie ; et membre votant de la Société de tératologie. Anick Bérard est l'investigatrice principale de l'étude de i) la Canadian Mother-Child Cohort (CAMCCO) Active Surveillance Initiative, ii) la Canadian Mother-Child Collaborative Training Platform (CAMCCO-L) ; iii) l’étude pancanadienne CONCEPTION – COVID-19 et grossesse, iv) de la Cohorte des grossesses et enfants du Québec, v) de l’AMerican PREGNANcy/ Child CohorT (AM-PREGNANT), et v) de la French National Pregnancy Cohort, PregMed-France. Le Dr Bérard a publié plus de 600 articles scientifiques, résumés et brevets, et a obtenu plus de 33 millions de dollars de financement des IRSC, de la FCI et du FRQS en tant que chercheur principal. Elle a récemment reçu le Distinguished Scientist Award de la Society for Birth Defects Prevention and Research pour ses travaux sur les antidépresseurs, la dépression maternelle et la grossesse ; a récemment reçu un prix de carrière en recherche de l’Association des facultés de pharmacie du Canada.
